The fourth Art of Wishes Gala took place on 9th October 2023. It was one of the first events to be hosted at the spectacular new Raffles Hotel London at The OWO. This historical landmark was the perfect setting for such an incredible evening where some of today’s most recognised artists, gallerists and celebrity talent gathered. The event raised an incredible £2.6m for Make-A-Wish UK, enough to fund over a 1000 wishes.

The Art of Wishes/MATCHESFASHION charity lunch took place at Wild by Tart, Belgravia, on Monday October 11. The prize draw and silent auction raised over £175,000 for Make A Wish UK.

The collaboration between acclaimed jewellery designer Fabio Salini and Art of Wishes raised close to £800,000 for Make-A-Wish UK. Salini donated 51 pieces from his private collection to Art of Wishes, which were sold in a two-part auction at Sotheby’s.

The Art of Wishes 2021 gala – the first in-person event for the initiative in two years – was a phenomenal success, exceeding all expectations and hopes to become Make-A-Wish UK’s biggest fundraiser ever. Taking place Monday 11 October, right before the festivities of Frieze, London began, the event raised an astounding £3.5 million. This amount will grant approximately 1,600 wishes to children living with critical illnesses.

On 1 October 2019, Art of Wishes presented a gala and art auction at the Royal Horticultural Halls, raising money to support Make-A-Wish UK, the charity whose speciality is to grant life-changing wishes to children suffering from life-altering illnesses and their families. Founded in 2017 by our patron, art collector and philanthropist Batia Ofer, the event marked Art of Wishes’ second-ever gala.
