Omar El Lahib, born in Sidon, Lebanon in 1986 and now based in Cologne, creates large-scale paintings that oscillate between figuration and abstraction, often evoking dreamlike nocturnal landscapes filled with vivid colour and bioluminescent detail. Rooted in themes of perception and intensity, his work draws viewers into immersive scenes that magnify moments of stillness and presence, recently featured in a group exhibition at chi K11 Art Museum in Shanghai.
Omar donated a work to the 2025 Art of Wishes Gala.
