Leopoldo Goût (b. Mexico City) is an artist, writer, and filmmaker whose multidisciplinary practice moves between abstraction and figuration, using memory and disorder as material for contemporary mythmaking. Trained at Central Saint Martins, his work spans visual art, literature, and screen.
His projects include the Netflix series The Chosen One and the HBO and Channel 4 drama Get Millie Black, created with Booker Prize–winning author Marlon James. His horror novel Piñata was named one of Esquire’s Top 10 Horror Books of the Year, and his documentary Carlos premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
