Born in 1993 in St. Louis and based in New Haven, Chambers creates vibrant paintings that merge art historical traditions like colour-field painting with contemporary themes of race, identity, and leisure, often drawing on literary influences such as W.E.B. Du Bois’ concept of “the veil.”
