Sir Christopher Le Brun (b. 1951) is one of Britain’s leading painters, celebrated internationally since the 1980s for his figurative and abstract work in painting, sculpture, and print. Former President of the Royal Academy (2011–2019) and knighted in 2021 for services to the arts, his works are held in major museum collections worldwide, including MoMA, Tate, and the V&A.
