Billy Childish (b. 1959, UK) is a prolific artist, writer, and musician whose emotive, autobiographical paintings reflect his “radical traditionalist” approach and reverence for oil painting. Using rich, earthy tones on warm linen, his vivid landscapes and portraits draw from local and distant environments, forging a connection between the material and the spiritual through the natural world.
